Singer/T.V. personality Kelly Rowland heads to the first round of Manchester X Factor auditions in the UK on Sunday afternoon (June 12). Kelly recently revealed to Rap-UP that she now has a release date for her long awaited third album. Word is it is hitting stores on July 26.
Mya performs during Day 2 of LA Gay Pride 2011 on Saturday (June 11) in Los Angeles, California. The 31 year-old performed two separate sets during the live show.
In related news, Mya released an international album, K.I.S.S. on April 20th in Japan. The album opened up at number 61 on their charts. No word on whether she is going to release it in the U.S.
With Father’s Day just around the corner, President Barack Obama has written and contributed a personal essay to People Magazine’s upcoming weekly issue. In the composition, the father of 2 girls shared a bit about his life without a father and how he has managed to not repeat history and be the father he never had to his two daughters, Malia & Sasha. I grew up without a father around. I have certain memories of him taking me to my first jazz concert and giving me my first basketball as a Christmas present. But he left when I was two years old.
And even though my sister and I were lucky enough to be raised by a wonderful mother and caring grandparents, I always felt his absence and wondered what it would have been like if he had been a greater presence in my life. The duo celebrated Kendra’s 26th birthday. They have one child together and are expected to return to E! with a new season her reality show, Kendra.
