Comedians always go to gay jokes when they have no material. Tracy Morgan has never been funny to me..he’s hella corny. Although other well known comedians have used gay jokes, he took it too far talking about killing his son..smh. Maybe deep down hes a homosexual himself.
Man he should of never apologise,it was a joke get over it,gay ppl are taking this shit a lil too far, giving basket ball players 100,000 fines for saying faggot,forcing comedians to apologise,this shit is getting rediculous,Me as being black in this society let alone being a black man, i get criticize even if i didn’t do anything wrong,stared at,follwed in high end department stores by employees,i know they call me all types of niggers in the comfort of they own home,but do i sit here and have a pitty party and bitch & moan..NO,I raise my head up high and keep moving,and handle my business as a man,now it’s getting to the point where they saying gay is the new black lol shit is crazy,no one knows your gay unless you tell them or your flamboyant,you cant hide being black.

I have to agree with you. It’s a double standard. Gays can put people down but when that mess they put out boomerangs right back at them they cry foul. To be honest Tracy didn’t say he had a problem with his son being gay, he said he had a problem with his son being girly. Now before anyone says “So that makes it ok” look at the MASSIVE amount of gay personal ads. What is the famous line that is in 95 percent of the ads “No Fats or Femmes”.
So if YOU can discriminate then why can he echo the same sentiment? Yes the stabbing was a bit much to white peoples ears, but that is the way black people talk. Get over it. He probably didn’t mean it in the literal sense. The biggest issue for me is that the liberal media took his words out of context and painted him to be a villian. Now I hope Tracy sees now whom he is dealing with. A pack of hypocrites. He bashed the right but when it came down to it, his group is the one that turned on him for invoking the same rights that they used to say they want to shot Sarah Palin or calling people who think they’re wrong hate filled bigots, the freedom of speech.

I believe that the Tracy Morgan issue is a ritual. He is deep in the Hollywood scene and is certainly intelligent enough to know that in these days and times, if a man in the entertainment industry speaks against h*mosexuals, he will be raked over the coals. The intent of a ritual like this is to use a famous black to make a “homophobic” statement so that once he is publicly embarrassed, brought low, and forced to apologize, that will make all the regular blacks that observe the situation view an anti-h*mosexual thought process as something “bad”.

I never really liked T Morgan. He was just never funny to me. He has just ruined his career, and its sad he chose to end it that way. I’m a black gay man and trust its not a choice. If it were I would mos def choose the easier route of being str8. Growing up black and gay from the South is one of the most difficult things ever, and its sad that since I’ve realized who I am and stopped hiding and pretending I get the most slack from my own people. SMH
I’ve always thought the “you have a choice” thing is absurd. Straight or gay- who has a choice? You can choose who you date, sleep with etc but you CANNOT choose who you’re attracted to or who you love. You just can’t. And, inherently everyone should know that.
I can deal with off-color jokes, but what Tracy said was foul and completely unfunny. I think it’s ok for a comedian to make gay jokes, but not as it relates to violence bc gays have historically suffered from hate crimes and violence. Chris Rock said it best: this was uncalled for.
Congrats to Mike Tyson. He probably could’ve been the best fighter ever if he had made better choices in life.
Tracey statements were not cool yet I do see the Gay community in Hollywood coming out against stereotypes of Latinos and Blacks. Pretending to be sooo Liberal only when it fits within the community. Hmm, dont see the Gay community slamming Rush L. or Michael Savage who make more horrible statements about them several times during every week, with a much larger audience than Tracey.
