Kelis was spotted arriving at the Whiskey Mist night club on Sunday night (June 13) in London, England. She was accompanied by celebrity P.R. Tracy Nguyen and other friends. One blog site is reporting that she is dating the dude in the picture below but we heard that is just a bad rumor and not true.
In related news, Kelis performed at the Parklife Weekender held at Platts Field earlier in the weekend in Manchester, England. Check out a short video below.

Bitch please, Kelis was wearing avant garde fashion and make up while stefani germanotta was sitting behing her piano crying in poor bars wishing she was a celeb! If one thing I give Kelis, she is one the first who was avant gardist and ecclectic, both music and style wise since 1999! Colorful hair, haircuts, music videos, visuals, she was like that, out of the box and still remains herself! She aint no manufactured industry ho.e like gaga who tries desperately to have attention! Kelis is brave in both style and music! She sets trends and dont get credits for them, too bad! I keep hearing people talk about Kelis getting love overseas, and with most of her past albums this was true, but her current album flopped EVERYWHERE, royally. Including overseas.

This is really pointless; however, I would not categorize Kelis with Lady Gaga but more so Rihanna in respects; who both probably took a chapter from Grace Jones; who took a book from Bowie. It was to my understanding that David Bowie was really the first to have a theatrical set and eccentric style that then resulted to your Kelis’, Marilyn Manson’s, Lady Gaga’s, Rihanna’s, etc. I do believe that Lady Gaga can be a respectable musician, she also takes her work seriously and has been playing the piano and song-writing since early age and did not discover/find herself until about 18 or 19 (which is fair, most teenage girls do) … Plus she has always given credit “I would be nothing without Madonna” which lead to Madonna personally playing a skit with her on SNL. “I would be nothing without the gay community” which also lead to her tremendous success with “Born This Way” and her “Ball” tours (tribute to Paris Is Burning). I think she is who she say she is, I seen her perform with a mirror on her piano, she would not be able to look at herself.
Grace Jones came before David Bowie sir.
And FleshTone did well in Europe. She’s still performing TWO years after releasing a “so called” flop. You know who’s flopping? Beyonce. Run The World & 1+1 are no where to be seen on the charts , since y’all bitches wanna state facts.

Kelis is still performing and that is great. My definition of flop is in regards to her piss poor record sales, which I’m sure you can find if you’d like.
And for the person talking about how poorly Beyonce is doing…that does not affect me. I do not even enjoy Beyonce’s music, most of it is just too noisy anyways.
Also, why assume that the media tells me what to like because of the fact that Kelis flopped? I have multiple Kelis albums and generally like her as an artist but her new direction is not my cup of tea by any means.
Actually David Bowie did come before Grace Jones, he even produced some of her work, and was always known for his eccentricity. Grace Jones was more so a muse if anything by her handlers (i.e. think what Rihanna is now). Grace didn’t really start doing big outlandish things till the mid 1980s whereas Bowie start till late 1960s along with JOBRIATH who was like the LADY GAGA of today (you should research him, very underrated artist, he was VERY bold with his sexuality than Bowie) but didn’t have as much success. I still stand by what I said because I know my shit. For the record, I am a big Kelis fan as well, KelisStan.
This is so sad. There’s no dissing Kelis in my opinion again in MY opinion. She’s been doing it for so long now. Even if her records are flopping she’s still Kelis. If anything her style was taken by Rihanna. I still like Rihanna though and we should stop comparing these artist. They are human beings. Just regular people and we definitely shouldn’t be comparing anyone to Lady GAGA or Beyonce. Their money is way to long for anyone to care.
