R&B singer Ginuwine aka Elgin Lumpkin is taking his life to the television screen…well at least that’s the plan. The 35 year-old father of 8 (yes, 
has his eyes set on having a reality show following his life as a musician, singer, father and husband, all while raising his children, supporting his former singer/wife Solé (Tanya Lumpkin) and manages his music career. Check out the trailer to his reality show, Ginuwine: A New Beginning.
No word on whether his show will be hitting our cable boxes soon.

That is not Ginuwine’s age. I grew up in the 1990s. He was around early 20s when the first album was debuted; he was close to age 30 when he released the second album 100% in year 1999, I was a teenager. He is closer to or is age 40 now.

yes, he is on the Maxwell tip of subtracting 5 years from his age. But whatever, i always thought he was a talented performer, he’s pretty and he seems decent, even with all those kids not with his wife. I’m all for folks legitimately tryin to eat, so I hope the show gets picked up

If it does air on tv I will probably watch it but some scenes look set up. It’s not shot very well either, like the quality at some parts.
I’m not so much trippin off the fact that he has 8 kids, MORESO off the fact that dude is claimin “35???” WTH!? Ginuwine doesn’t have to do that. I have mentioned above about his age not being 35, he is older closer to age 40; you say Ginuwine is 35. Compare his age to the age of Aaliyah if she was alive now she would be age 32. When Ginuwine debuted in 1995, Aaliyah was age 16 so you are saying Ginuwine was age 18 in the “Pony” music video?! He was around early 20s in that video. I would say he is closer to Timbaland and Missy Elliot’s ages.
He really has 6 kids but he claims his wife’s 2 kids that she had from a previous marriage as well.
Also doesn’t Ginuwine have a child with the same exact name as him from previous relationship? I remember his child in a few videos from late 1990s before he and spouse Sole married. Thanks.
