Beyoncé will release the deluxe edition of her new album, 4 exclusively at Target retail stores.
In promotion of the new album, which is currently being promoted by the single, “Best Thing I Never Had,” Beyoncé has filmed a commercial, showing and explaining the time that she took off to live life and experience things for herself without working, in order to prepare for this new album.
4 will hit stores next week, Tuesday, June 28th.

The 4 album is sophisticated and definitely her boldest album yet. Many of the songs could be timeless, such as “I Miss You, Start Over (which has an earthy melody) and I Care, to name a few. I am impressed with the depth of the songs and complex arrangements.

This album is pretty good. The are only 2 songs that I scratch my head with. Other than that, it’s cool. I care, start over, countdown, I miss you and rather die young.

I’ve tried to like it, but its not a good album at all (mediocre songs, recycled beats, and a lot of in your face over-singing)…I have bought all of Beyonce’s previous albums, but I don’t believe in waisting money, and thats exactly what purchasing this album would be…A WASTE!
On a side note…It’s okay to be a fan of someone and not like everything they put out. I say this only because I feel a lot of her fans are gonna purchase and back this album based only on the fact that she is BEYONCE! I wonder if Beyonce knows (or even cares) she’s partnering with the very company brand that despises her very core (gay) fan base. As far as the album, I did not instantly “love” it but it grew on me, some of the songs, I think you have to give it while. I can also see what she meant by she “sung as if at a concert” or something to give effect which is different.
People must do not understand good music. This album showed her true R&B roots, and her strong vocal range she has.A true Beyonce experience is seeing her in concert. I think there is a movement in the Cyber world to see her fail for some reason, but I will be buying her album regardless.

You made some valid points. But, you know what I think it is? I think people are just tired of Beyonce. It may come across as “wanting to see her fail”, but what it really is, is that people just want her to go away for awhile. Maxwell and Sade took an 8 year break from the music business. We didn’t see them or hear from them at all. So much so, that we didn’t even know where they were. Beyonce doesn’t have to take an 8 year break exactly like they did, but you get the point that I’m making. Even during the course of Beyonce’s “so called” break, you still saw her here and there. Remember how she released her, “Why Don’t You Love Me?” video during her break for the fans? While it was appreciative, it wasn’t necessary. How is that a break, when we’re still seeing you? If Maxwell and Sade can disappear for a period of time without the public seeing and knowing where they are, then surely Beyonce can do it too. The public wants to have a chance to miss her, that way when she comes back on the scene people will appreciate her even more. A year is not long enough. Even now, people are still saying that their tired of her and that they wish she’d go awhile for a long while. So, obviously, her 1 year break was not long enough.

I’m proud that she is going her own route and not doing what everyone else is doing (Pop, Techno & Auto-Tune). She went strictly to R&B. This album feels like an 90′s album, but like a modern version. I believe Beyonce is going to do very well. She has alot of fans and I’m sure they will be supporting her instead of downloading the leak songs. I’m a faithful fan as well and I’ll be buying my copy on June 28th. The only question that I want to ask is, Why do people always want to see someone fail? Why? Is it because the person is too good for you? Is it because they are very successful and they are doing something well? Please tell me, I really want to know why you feel this way and have so much hatred to someone.
