If a (young) woman wants to gain some kind of knowledge about the Bible, Christ, etc, how is she to go about it when all the “Christians” around her are ignorant/stupid/simple church folks or people of a different religious background (Muslim, Buddhist, Catholic, etc)? If there is no man in her life who is being dealt with directly by Christ, what is the woman to do if she wants any kind of knowledge at all? There is nobody to teach, nobody around her who is spiritual, so since women have no ability understand and interpret scripture correctly unless a man does it for her, is she completely cut off from Christ if she knows no man who can do so? Does she wait for a man to come along and teach her, especially in this day and age when so few “Christians” even question the church’s teachings at all? If a man deals with Christ directly, and a woman deals with Christ through a man, what are we supposed to do if there are no men dealing with Christ? Are we just cut off from him completely?
And what of the spirit of a woman in this situation? And what is a woman supposed to do if the people around her have no understanding, but she has some? Does she even begin to teach them? You say that women cannot teach anyone over the age of 4, but if this woman know things that others around her are ignorant of, is that woman still not entitled to teach these kinds of people anything? And if women are only on the earth to offer their services as wives and mothers, are all single, childless women puposeless and without understanding regardless of talents or giftings?
