According to reports made by Billboard.biz, Epic Records’ staff has been quite energetic over their first week with new label head L.A. Reid, who recently stepped down from his stint at Def Jam.
With reports of trying to restructure the label, which is a part of Sony Music Group, it has been announced that Ciara may be teaming forces with L.A. Reid, who signed her before, back in 2003 to LaFace Records.

It’s about time that Ciara has something in the mix. To say that she didn’t find her niche is laughable. The second record, the Evolution of Ciara, had her signature style. Different stuff for different people!
It’s sad reading comments that want to see CERROR succeed, only because she’s a dancer/stripper, not a singer. She’s had 2 flop albums back to back and has been doing the same ghetto stripper moves forever. We don’t need anymore untalented chicks being signed, especially washed up ones. I wish the industry would get it together and sign artists who bring something new to the table and can actually sing. The only new artists who can sing are Bruno Mars and Adele.

In my opinion Ciara is a “One Hit Wonder”… Each of her albums had only one hit song or not at all. Honestly I think she should give up the singing and move on to modeling. She lost some of her audience on the second album because she changed her formula, she should have stuck with what she knew best…
Wouldn’t a one hit wonder only be known for one song. Ciara has several WW hits. Goodies, 1,2 Step, Oh, Lose Control, Like You, Get Up, Like a Boy, Love Sex Magic and Taking Back My Love were all huge hits. She’s sold nearly 9 million albums and over 10 million singles, I am pretty sure she would’ve sold much much more if she hadn’t tried to go Pop with Fantasy Ride, but she’s far from a one hit wonder

@Antonio I support Ciara bc of her talent and gift, so no matter what she does Im going to support. Ppl forget that when Aaliyah died a triple threat was missing for awhile. She came into the music world and made us remember the TLC’s, Janet’s and Aaliyah’s and that’s why I’m cheering her on bc a package like that is rarely found in the music industry
I hope this is true because I also read on another site that LA Reid also wants to get Ciara, Usher, P!nk, J.Lo and Mariah Carey to all come to Epic Records and that really would be an “EPIC” record label because all of them, except P!nk have fallen off bad. P!nk’s last studio album was almost 3 years ago, but it sold over 7 million WW and the tour grossed over $150 million, but I really want Ciara, Usher and Mariah to get back on top of the charts again. I never really cared for J.Lo but the woman did use to sell albums like crazy, but she is a really good performer though.
