“Yonkers” by Odd Future’s Tyler, the Creator and “Rolling in the Deep” by British singer Adele will be fighting for the Video of the Year title. Rapper/actor Common is set to drop his ninth studio album through Warner Brothers records. The lead single “Ghetto Dreams” features Nas and hit the web earlier this month.

No comments on Common music so far huh. It’s sounds very been there done that. Listening to the lyrics, I notice the “ghetto dreams” are very shallow where the women like Cinderella are looking for wealthy men to help with their material needs. No talk of getting a college education, creating their own businesses or bringing a innovate opportunity to the ghetto community. I expected different and better from common. I was expecting lyrics that would highlight the ignorance of the people who talked trash about him and the president recently. Oh well.
