In terms of vocals..no she is not on a level of mariah, mary. She can sing however..she is not terrible. Dont get it confused..some people like to talk about her singing live and say she cant sing only because they compare her to people who can out sing her..now if she was a Kim Zodiac..than that would be different.

I personally think missy’s production and songwriting skills are amazing for R&B. Thats why I believe Monica enjoys working with her, because Missy’s work is complimentary to 90′s R&B/ Hip Hop, based on the fact that both artists (monica and missy) came from the era of music. I’m a big fan of Mo, but I’m kind of disappointed. The single is kind of dry. “Everything to Me” was classic R&B but it was incredible, this is falling a little short. I can see the direction they were trying to go, give an old school kind of ode to those Hip-Hop & R&B records but right now it’s not clicking.
