Check out the video above as Todrick and his crew get their dance & step on. I hope Target pays him for this. I’m just sayin…
With the Real Housewives of Atlanta coming back for a new season, one of the show’s favorite cast members, fashion stylist Dwight Eubanks will not be returning. In an interview with Bet.com, the 50 year-old revealed why he’s not returning to the popular Bravo reality television series and more:
His thoughts on reality TV: “We can entertain you, but you still need to be educated. That’s what’s lacking in the television industry. It’s so much buffoonery and craziness out there. I just can’t do it. I refuse to do it.”
On what turned him off about doing the RH:
“It was very time-consuming and I only did the Real Housewives of Atlanta to promote [his Purple Door Salon] and out of three years, they have not yet shown what I really do. I’ve had a salon for over 25 years and they just refuse to show it. It does not make sense,” he explained.
On his future in television:
“They’re still trying to figure out what to do with me,” he says, explaining why his hair-focused reality show has yet to finish filming. “You have to realize: I’m 50 years old. Therefore, it has to be something that makes sense and has substance.”
When asked if he misses filming with the cast, he remarked, “I don’t miss it at all.”
Grammy-nominated Jive Records Recording Artist Miguel recently filmed the video for his songs “Quickie/Girls Like You” (LISTEN HERE). The clip was directed by Alex Moors and is expected to be released soon.
According to Vogue UK, Kanye West is working on a womenswear line with British designer Louise Goldin. Although she is not involved with the line, Central Saint Martins’ Professor Louise Wilson admitted to chatting with him recently about his fashion ideas:
“I have known Kanye for about two years. He is very knowledgeable about fashion and interested – he is also interesting, he has an individual point of view. I think we can expect a well-considered collection, you wouldn’t expect less from a pair of professionals and I warn against dismissing it in haste. There are those who might assume Louise will be doing all the work and Kanye is just the face, I don’t believe this will be the case – he researches thoroughly and is hands on and committed to his work. [...] I have not however been working closely with him on a collection but I certainly wish him well.” [Source]
We’ll all be able to see what the rapper/producer has up his sleeve at this year’s NYC Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. But umm…What ever happened to his first clothing line, Pastelle?
