(AIRING MONDAY, JULY 18TH) Things couldn’t be better for Val and Jerry… until Quinn shows up with a startling revelation. Keisha gets caught in the middle of an old feud between Malcolm and his brother. April tries to get Reed to focus more on his music than partying. And Christina gives Omar relationship advice. Quinn unexpectedly shows back up in Val’s life. New couple Malcolm and Keisha decide to throw a brunch for family and friends, which goes south when Malcolm’s estranged brother, Terrence, shows up. Reed settles into April’s new place and goes to work on writing new songs. After seeing how Vincent, Omar’s new boyfriend, treats him, Christina encourages Omar to figure out what he wants out of the relationship.
In related news, VH1 has greenlit a second season of “Single Ladies.” The network’s first hour-long scripted series has become really popular, averaging 2.8 million total viewers; coming in right after hit show, Basketball Wives. The season one will finale will air on August 8.

Keke Palmer is ready to release her sophomore studio album, which remains untitled. Check out the first single from her project, “Walls Come Down.” Keke released a mixtape, entitled The Awaken (download here) earlier this year.
There’s no solid release date for Keke’s album, but she is still working on her acting career, currently filming Ice Age: Continental Drift, with another film entitled Joyful Noise in post-production.
