In an attempt to apologize to his fans, Lil’ Wayne, commonly referred to as “Lil’ Tunechi” puts out a brand new mixtape entitled Sorry 4 the Wait, in order to let us know that his new album, The Carter IV, is coming.
The mixtape is a collection of Weezy spitting over tracks that have been popular over the span of the spring and summer. He gives is take on Drake’s largely covered “Marvin’s Room” and even spits some bars of Adele’s smash single, “Rolling In the Deep.” He also promises that his album will hit stores August 29th over Beyonce’s “Run the World (Girls)” track.
Late last week, newly married R&B singer and Atlanta native, Monica released her brand new single, “Anything (To Find You)” from her forthcoming sixth studio album, New Life.
The track, that originally featured rappers Rick Ross and Lil’ Kim, made it’s debut at #71 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart this week, but Lil’ Kim’s named was not found anywhere on the credits. Wale gives us the lead single from his forthcoming sophomore album, Ambition, entitled “Girls Gone Wild.”
The new single features Roc Nation signee and North Carolina native J. Cole, who also produced the track. A video was shot for the new single and will premiere within the coming weeks. Wale’s Ambition will hit stores this fall via Maybach Music/Warner Brothers.
