Beyonce and her mother Tina Knowles were spotted shopping for shoes in a department store in London on Monday afternoon (July 11). The star is currently rocking a lot of stages around Europe (VIEW PICS & VIDEO).
In related news, two months after it was announced that Beyonce dropped her father Mathew Knowles as her manager, TMZ is reporting that Papa Knowles has filed documents defending himself against accusations that he stole lumps of money from his daughter’s estate:
According to the docs, Mathew claims Live Nation told Beyonce that Mathew “had stolen money from Beyonce on her most recent tour or otherwise
taken funds that [he] was not entitled to.”
Mathew claims Live Nation was effective, because Beyonce had her law firm conduct an audit, and the law firm concluded Mathew had indeed pilfered money from her. Beyonce then fired him.
Mathew claims after he was canned, Beyonce hired a manager who had worked as a former exec at Live Nation and maintained a relationship with the company.
Mathew insists the theft accusations by Live Nation are false, and he wants the judge to give him the right to take depositions of various people at Live Nation, to determine just how they concluded he was a thief. [Source]
Mathew Knowles also claims Live Nation Entertainment wanted their hands in Beyonce’s 2011 world tour money by any means necessary. No word from Beyonce’s camp in regards to whether this is true…

Wow really?? I don’t know about this story. Isn’t Jay-Z a partner of Live Nation? Why would Mathew Knowles have to steal from Beyonce? This man made a killing off of managing her alone. Is Jay-Z really the one who’s greedy and used Live Nation as a means of eliminating Mathew out of the picture so that he can have more control over Beyonce, her career, and money? This smells a little fishy to me because Live Nation has been known to rip off artists and concertgoers. Most artists don’t even like messing with them because of the fees they receive.
