Following her recent Twitterversy, Jennifer Hudson and her sister, Julia, distributed school supplies during the 1st Annual Julian D. King Gift Foundation Hatch Day Celebration at De La Salle Institute in Chicago on Sunday.
The event is named in honor of Julia’s 7-year-old son who was shot to death along with his grandmother, Darnell Hudson Donerson, and uncle, Jason Hudson, in October 2008.

I agree. People are acting like she came on the scene as a WW spokesperson. Jennifer has one of the best voice in the industry , she can act, about the only thing she is missing is knowing how to play an instrument. If she did know how to play something she would be an industry trifecta(hoped I spelled it right). Words to Jennifer, You are strong beautiful and talented Jennifer the artist (since i dont know you in real life, lol. God has blessed you and dont forget that. I look forward to getting your Album.

Yes; and to show how much of a demon this female, Jennifer Hudson is, first she has her nephew sacrificed to cement her a place in the entertainment industry, but now she starts a “foundation” so that she can get simpletons to send her money to line her pockets, allegedly “in his memory” smdh. Wow, this whole article is about a foundation they set up for her nephew after he was shot. And all anybody can talk about is her weight. That being said, i’m glad they doing something in her nephews name. It’s good to make something positive out of a tragic incident.
Agreed!!! It’s about her nephew and his life, the child won’t have the chance to live life, so it’s great that she did this foundation for her nephew. Black people needs to get it together and stop talking foolishness about her weight!! SMH!!!

The sister’s weight should be addressed but not simply from a physical standpoint or to simply critique her on her appearance…they’re starting a foundation for her son Julian but if the mom doesn’t concentrate on her weight…the entire point of the organization will be pointless because her weight is a health risk.. High blood pressure…diabetes…heart disease etc…
