♫ The Dream feat. Big Sean – Ghetto

As promised, The Dream releases his free internet album, 1977, appropriately titled after the year of his birth. The singer/songwriter is using this as a tool to promote his fourth studio album, The Love, IV: Diary of a Madman.

♫ The Dream – Long Gone

The new album features appearances from Pharrell Williams, Big Sean and Radio Killa signee, Casha. There hasn’t been another single release or a release date for the new album, but The Dream hopes to release in the fall.

well, since nobody wants to talk about the content of what llies beyond the cover (the music) I shall proceed. I am impressed by 1977. I thought Dream was falling off, but this mixtape proves that he’s still in the game. This is a mixtape and its absolutely amazing, it’s to good to be free….. I see this has his musical diary he never really said what went down with C. Mili. But 1977 clearly gives us listeners a glimpse into what transpired between them. Also, I like how he took the time to introduce Casha as a part of Radio Killa. I had no idea she could sing like that. That song really displayed that she has range, unlike her past work with Candy Hill & Yung Berg…..Lastly, am getting a feeling that “Form of Flattery” is directed towards The Weeknd. What yall think?

Thanks Dream for giving us another “Dream” album, You could have went all “left field” on us and tried to prove to those who still worship at the “neo-soul” alter that you are a “real” singer, “real” songwriter and “real” musician. But you did what your fans enjoy. Bravo! And, like I have with the last 3, number for gets PURCHASED at a brick and mortar during the first week.
