Remember John Allen Williams? The man who carried out those sniper attacks in Virginia, Maryland and Washington D.C? According to a source, former ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ actor/author Isaiah Washington is slated to play the D.C. Sniper in a new film:
Isaiah Washington is set to star in Blue Caprice, a thriller about the sniper attacks that terrorized the Washington DC area in October 2002. Alexandre Moors is directing the project. Washington will play John Allen Williams, who joined the Nation of Islam and changed his surname to Muhammad years before going on a shooting spree with a young accomplice, Lee Boyd Malvo, that took the lives of at least ten people. The pair was caught after the authorities informed the public to look for a former police car. Williams was eventually tried, convicted and executed in 2009. [Source]
No word on who will be playing his accomplice, Lee Boyd Malvo but the film will start shooting sometime next month in New York City. A part of me is wondering why in the world they’re making a movie about this.
As many of you know, John Allen was executed back in 2009 for his crimes and Lee Boyd Malvo is currently serving life in prison.

Isaiah needs a check BAD after that Grey’s Anatomy fiasco! And if it makes to the big screen it will be a good look and put in back into movies. Trust me he needs work.

I think Isaiah Washington is a terrific actor – certainly better than those he worked with on Grey’s so I’m sure he’ll be great in the role.

I really wish they wouldn’t make a movie about this or any other crazy killings. That dude is still alive in prison bout to be even more famous for some horrible crap. Lets pray for the families of the victims who still and forever will be stressed over this and leave this story alone. Like someone already mentioned, that made for tv movie was too much. No need to chew this up again.
There’s nothing thrilling or entertaining about this violent tragedy, so I would hope that it’s depicted as a serious drama if they’re gonna do it all. But either way, I don’t think the killers deserve the attention or any royalties that might be paid to them for using their name and likeness.
The co-star who plays Lee Boyd Malvo is TeQuan Richmond of Everybody Hates Chris. The director is the same artist behind Kanye West’s ‘Runaway” film with Selita Ebanks.
