Lil Mama, also known as the “The Voice of the Young People” is back with a new song and video. The track, “Scrawberry,” pays homage to one of her role models, Mc Lyte and samples instrumentals from Special ED’s “I Got It Made.”
Directed by Phil Lee, the 21 year-old plays dress up in a dollhouse and let’s just say this song is a hit.

You better get it Mama! Respect the fact that she’s coming back to doing something that she loves. When you all bash her with hatred it only makes her stronger. Really liking the comeback
ANGEL, you need to post another song for me!
I like it. That is all.
I like Lil Mama. She has always done things her own way. I appreciate the fact that she can be creative without being half naked or using a bunch of foul or vulgar lyrics.
The song should have been longer. In terms of her promo team the question I have is what is going on? I mean why make a video for a song that has not even been pushed to radio yet?
SEEMS LIKE EVERY FEMALE RAPPER WANTS TO BE A BARBIE. SEEMS LIKE SHE COPYING OF NICKI MINAJ TO ME. BE ORIGINAL, I DONT LIKE IT.
This song is so wack. She can rap well, but wtf at those Lady Gaga outfits and Nicki Minaj wigs! She has some nerve saying she wants to be known for her talent and she’s not a gimmick when she’s rocking crazy colored wigs and flashy outfits. And y’all had some damn nerve clowning Nicki for “copying Lil Kim’s stlye?” SMH! Nicki Minaj is versatile and unique and has made a name for herself. I don’t understand why the ghetto, hoodrats who are stans of Kim’s irrelevant a—put her down so much. Anyway, back to Lil Mama, she isn’t the voice of the young people and her dressing like a fool to get famous isn’t setting a good example for the young people. Plus, she’s ugly as hell and looks like a dude with makeup on.
