Much like the rest of us, troubled actress Lindsay Lohan sat at home tweeting about this year’s VMA’s. Apparently, Chris Brown’s high-energy, acrobatic performance piqued her interest.

The East Coast earthquake earlier this week caught many by surprise, but Mya took it as an opportunity to release a new track, “Earthquake” featuring Trina. The lively track was to be included on her latest album K.I.S.S. (Keep It Sexy & Simple), which was released in Japan earlier this year, but Mya says she pulled it following the earthquake that hit last spring and will include it on the U.S. version of the album:
“‘Earthquake’ is just a really fun song that crowds go wild for when I perform it live and when we tested it in the clubs. I pulled it from the Japanese release of my ‘K.I.S.S.’ album out of respect after the devastating earthquake last spring. When considering to release it on the U.S. version this fall, again it was a decision I went back and forth on, but ultimately, I think people will understand my decision to release the song, because at the end of the day I think the world is ready to have some fun, and take negative situations and reinvent them into something positive, that we can own, learn from and that bring us together.”
Singer Alicia Keys, alongside actress Demi Moore & Jennifer Aniston grace the cover of Glamour magazine’s October issue. The three of them have joined forces to direct a series of short films for Lifetime’s Five, a series of films about women and breast cancer and how the illness affects their lives. Alicia keys will be contributing her short film entitled Lili. Among other things, the 30 year-old musician/songwriter also shared what inspired her to start directing a film of her own:
