One week after giving birth to her 6th child and addressing the rumors (READ MORE), Lauryn Hill headed back to work and performed at the L.A. Rising music festival over the weekend (July 30).
The 36 year-old singer/songwriter rocked blow dried hair and an interesting outfit as she sang many of her 90s hits like “Ready or Not” and “Doo Wop (That Thing)”. Peep some footage from her concert.

Originally in the market for releasing another mixtape before he dropped his debut album, RocNation signee, J. Cole gives us a brand new EP, entitled Any Given Sunday. The 5 track EP is just the first of new content that J. Cole plans to release each Sunday before the release of his debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story.
“Every Sunday ’til the album drops, I’ll be back with something. Maybe just 1 song, maybe a video, depending on how I’m feeling,” Cole said on his DreamVillian blog.
The highly anticipated debut album will hit stores September 27th, but until then, you can look out for new material from J. Cole every Sunday.
R&B singer/actress Brandy Norwood released the trailer to her upcoming documentary, On My Own, a behind-the-scenes look at Brandy’s life as she works on a new R&B album. Fans will get an insight into her life as a single mother, as she works hard and goes back to her R&B roots for upcoming highly-anticipated untitled album. No word on whether this will be a webisode or shown on a major network. Either way, I’m sure we’re all just happy she’s finally working on a new album!
Drake is all ready to release his highly anticipated sophomore set, Take Care and he’s finally giving us a taste of his first single. The brand new track, “Headlines,” produced by Boi-1da, with whom he collaborated with on much of his debut release, last year’s Thank Me Later, is the lead single lifted from the new project, which Drake hopes to release this fall, on October 24th.
