Former member of R&B singing group 3LW, Naturi Naughton is putting her acting chops to work! The 27 year-old New Jersey-native recently landed a lead role as a playboy bunny on NBC’s newest television series, The Playboy Club. The show is based off the first Playboy Club Bunnies. Naughton plays Bunny Brenda, a young woman who hopes of becoming the first African-American Playboy Playmate. The Playboy Club premieres on Sept. 19 at 10/9pm CST on NBC.

“I listened to a lot of heavy metal and I decorated my mirror with all these Conan pictures and then also just naked women everywhere. Just cause my wife wasn’t there for the first couple of months so it just builds all that testosterone.”
