The movie adaptation of Steve Harvey’s best-selling book, Act Like a Lady, Think Like Man is currently in the works! The big-star cast includes Taraji P. Henson, Michael Ealy, La La Vazquez, Gabriel Union, Kevin Hart, Meagan Good, Chris Brown, Morris Chesnutt, Tika Sumpter, Terrence J and many others!

Sorry but there are going to be waaay to many black celebrities in this movie, hell just throw in the cast of the Cosby Show, Girlfriends, and the Game! That would cover just about every low profile black celebrity in Hollywood
I cannot support anything by Steve Harvey. If I watch the movie, it will be on bootleg so no profits go to Steve.

I thought I was the only one who felt like that. I used to like him, but the last few years something has seemed very disingenuous about him. And, since he’s a “Q” I’m sure he’s put quite a few notches on his bedpost…why the hell should he profit by telling women to stay clear of all the b.s. he used to feed them. Save that for your daughter. Black women have enough people telling them that [Black] men are no good.
I’ll be watching it just because of Michael Ealy’s gorgeous self.

I think that most of us feel that Mr. Harvey is an opportunist. To write a book like this assumes you have some authority on the subject. What expertise does he have? Is he a relationship counselor? A clinical psychologist? No. He is a member of a fraternity with a certain reputation for being “nasty” with women. No disrespect to the frat. I actually like them. But, do women really want advice from a “Q Dog” on what type of man to entertain? Or does it just perpetuate the stereotype that all [Black] men have hidden agendas, and that black women can cure their issues by reading a book [

Not a Fan of Steve’s and the book was “common sense” BUT im sure it will be a pretty good watch so Iwill def go and see this movie. Im not sure how people are seeing this as a fail just based on who is in it, but from listed above there are few good actors/actresses. I love Michael Ealy and Romany, Tika and Taraji. So good luck to the project!
I am not a huge Steve Harvey fan, but I am a fan of someone who gives our Black Actors work!!!! For that alone, I will support it.

I think this movie might be interesting so I am looking forward to checking it out. As far as Steve Harvey is concern we need not to be passing judgment on him and his past marriage he has moved on and so has the ex wife. No body is perfect human beings makes mistakes.To be perfectly because we were not there so please move on! grow up! and get a life in the end God is his Judge not us people and you all know that.
YOU CAN’T WIN FOR LOSING with some blk folk. we have an all star cast of beautiful blk people representing us on the big screen and all we can do is act like crabs in the mofo barrel? come on folk, we deserve to have movies that are geared towards us and the only way that will happen is if we support those movies…the book was good and yes it was common sense, but everyone is not COMMON and they do not all have sense, just like the ones down playing this movie! give props where props are due and be happy we have people are the big screen repping for us!!!
