Jill never said she coined this phrase, Concrete Loop just said she did. I’ve always heard her say that she got the term from a friend, maybe that friend was Sommore and it’s not that complicated to put that word together really. Someone that hasn’t a clue of who Sommore is and have yet to hear Jill say it, is likely walking around saying the same thing, it’s not that deep.
Well, I definitely sense some touchiness up in here! Also, those of you who are saying her subject matter is shallow obviously haven’t picked up her new album. On it she opens up to her trials in love and life. Yes, she acknowledges the temptation of fleeting love..but she lets you know needs more, demands it, and will make you wait for the fifth date!

This clearly is an interview regarding her new cd, and she is just speaking on the songs on her cd. Also, what is so wrong with a woman talking about her past relationships; someone out there may be inspired from it. I don’t see anything trashy about what she has said; most of us have been there.

I don’t understand why the negativity against Jill Scott. Why can’t she be honest and just be expressive? If one disagrees then that’s cool, but the negativity is unnecessary. I am glad she is herself. And I dig this last album she released.
