VIDEO: RYE RYE & ROBYN PERFORM “NEVER WILL BE MINE” ON LENO

August 8th, 2011

Rapper/M.I.A. protégé Rye Rye and Swedish recording artist Robyn joined forces and performed the rapper’s newest single, “Never Will Be Mine.” This dance-pop track is off of Rye Rye’s debut studio album, Go! Pop! Bang! You may remember the chorus from Robyn’s song, “Be Mine!” off her fourth studio album, Robyn.

I feel for Rye Rye. I hope she knows they are not that interested in her or her music. Her performing on Leno and Jimmy Kimmel has more to do with the promotion of Robyn instead.

Rye rye is amazing and her outfit was on point. I don’t know what these haters are talking about. I’ve always loved Robyn and Rye rye is really big in Baltimore, glad she’s getting the recognition she deserves. Check out Sunshine ft. M.I.A.

Looks like a broke down H.S. talent show. The music & style of this generation sucks ass.

I actually like Rye Rye and wish her the best. She’s ghetto fabulous, but so is Rihanna. She had a team of people make her over. Her voice sounded better onstage because it was less Trina and more her. I think with the right hair do, outfits, skin care, and promo team, she can really make it big. She has a nice hip-hop/electronic sound with some pop and has great stage presence and a wonderful personality. Robyn looks like a man, but her voice is amazing, especially live.
