Looks like the first season of VH1′s Single Ladies is coming to an end…at least until the new season comes back next year. In the finale episode which airs tonight (August 8), Val finds herself overwhelmed as she receives two shocking surprises about love and life. Keisha is dragged further into Malcolm’s foggy past while Christina’s secretive tell-all journal is discovered. April finally has her moment with Darryl after the fallout from Reed’s performance and Omar finds himself at a crossroads with Derek.

I must admit this is good show and I love the story lines as well. I have to confess I thought I was not going to watch it all. After the first 20 min I was hooked lol.

Single Ladies is one of my guilty pleasures. A little sad that this is the season finale.
the story lines are better the actors. i am mainly talkin about lisa-raye. i thought she was gonna kill it from seeing her in previous films. stacey is okay but they need to improve next season cus the writers did thier part.

Normally,I don’t respond to blog, I just post my opinion and move on, but I must say something this time. I don’t know if you are a movie critic, but I felt that Lisa-Ray and Stacy both did a great job, it was very refreshing see two actresses tell a story line and make it seem real, instead of rehearse or fake. Lisa-Ray and Stacy ladies keep up the great work. Look forward to seeing you on the next season!!

Everyone’s acting needs help IMO. Malcom is the only one I don’t feel like he’s trying too hard. Stacy is so monotone. lisa ray is all about her booty and always does the same roles.
The show does it for me… I think they need to recast the blonde. And Lisraye just needs to watch her accent that is all other than that its a solid show.
I luv Keisha and Malcolm they r soooooooooo cute 2gether, I am hook on this show as well i like the pretty white girl that’s married 2 a black guy she can act and sing look forward 2 finale and next years episodes go Single Ladies proud of Queen Latifah this show definitely entertains my whole family
I really like this show, but I just heard the Stacey Dash was fired from Single Ladies from another blog….smh. Now they are trying to find a replacement for her character.

The acting is fine with me, just the same as any other tv show. Its like these shows come on and off so fast and then there is a long silence.. Its like it just came on for 2 months and over. Guess if its a good show, it will seem like time flies when you are having fun. What is really going on with fine Malcolm..say it aint so..Bet he is being set up by his brother and ex wife..blackmailed or something because his brother was real angry and old ex wifey and his brother were connected some how and Malcolm owed both of them. Val dont need to marry either one of them, Jerry got too much baggage…3 marriages and 4 kids..what! At least with the ex, it will all be new to both of them..we will see.
I won’t watch it if Stacey Dash or Lisa Raye does not come back, everybody is a keeper as far as I am concerned…they may just add another newcomer to spice things up even more, but I am fine with the way it is. Malcolm and Lisa Raye, got to keep those two. Somebody has got to stay single for a little longer.
I agree. I was so shock with the final episode and Malcolm disappeared. What is going on!!

I actually think the show is pretty good entertainment(both the current actors & story lines) and I would love to see more. Ms. QL, make them buy another season so those of us (like myself) who have real appreciation for this show, can continue to enjoy it.

I really hope they don’t replace any of the main characters because I will be very upset. I love this freaking show, I have to admit that when the season started I didn’t think it was going to be any good but my mind changed after watching this season. They need to make season2 sooner than next year, that’s the only problem i have with this show

The show is great. Keisha and Malcom, gotta keep them together. Love her character, lisa raye perfect for the role, their chemistry is great. Her accent comes through every now and again other than that you go girl. Also the theme music for this couple is great.

Val seems to be going through a lot of relationships, that are just not working out. I would like to see her get back with KC, there is a lot of chemistry between them.

Single Ladies was also my guily pleasure, today is Monday and I have nothing to look forward to (sigh). The story line is great and the acting could be a little better, but I was still satisified with the overall concept of the show. Also, LOVED the fashion! Good job Queen Latifah, I’ll always support you!
I was so caught up into the show I didn’t know that Aug 8 was the last episode. I was so upset when I turn on the tubes and the show was not on. I can’t wait see what happens with Keisha and Malcolm, and how Val will handle her situation, And April if she will find new Love or get back together with Darryl. Please bring this show back on soon!!
