J. Cole sounds OK. His CD is OK. He sounds like Wale, Kid Cudi and Kanye West.
His album is a major disappointment. Most mixtape tracks were better.
His album was pretty good anybody that says his album is disappointing clearly doesn’t understand the metaphors that he used in his music.
On this album J. Cole talks about what happens after he signed the deal and a lot of rappers don’t touch up on that. Rappers are too busy being flashy and then broke the next minute
He brings that balance to Hip Hop that’s what we need! What does J. Cole have to do make it rain on them to get respect? I think not!
The album is hot and if you can’t see that than something is wrong. I was a little worried after hearing some of his singles but even they sound better when they’re mixed in with the rest of the album material.

I’m a Jay Cole fan, but I think the streets might not care. He better hurry up and release this album, and it should have a lot of songs on it. He’s waited to long. They hype might be over. I know his talent will rise, but Hurry up son.
