FASHION: RIHANNA’S ARMANI JEANS AD REVEALED
It was announced back in July that Rihanna would be the new celebrity face of Armani Jeans. Now that New York Fashion Week is officially on and popping, we’re seeing the initial fruits of that labor.
The first image of Rihanna for Armani Jeans was released this morning via the fashion house’s official Facebook page. The ad features Rihanna sporting a short blonde wig, wearing a black cropped sweater, and black Armani jeans (natch).
NYC Photographer Steven Klein gave his talents for the gritty, visually interesting ad. But does it make you want to go out and buy a pair of jeans?

This is the first photo that I did not like of rihanna. It looks like they were trying to go for an edgey look and failed. This photo does not stand out

FIERCE! I love it! Work it Ri-Ri. People can say whatever they want to, she is still relevant in an industry where most don’t stick around for a week left alone for as long as she has. Make your money girl because anyone who CAN will definitely be doing it as well.
No & my first thought was, “where are the jeans”?!?!? They don’t look like jeans and Rihanna (even though I don’t care for her) is very pretty and has a fab shape. They should’ve made her look sexy, not tomboyish with that horrible wig and the jeans shot should’ve been maybe over the car showing her shape to make you THINK you could possibly look like that. This is awful!!!!!!!!
HORRIBLE and women don’t buy jeans for how they look in the front (and a lot of chicks don’t have a stomach that flat and don’t want to show it). They buy jeans for how they look in the BACK. Easy shot should be from the back with her head turned to see her face. This is just dumb.

naw, this isn’t cute. it’s not seiling the jeans at all. it just looks like a regular photoshoot marketing rihanna not Armani. as a matter of fact: take the Armani logo off and it could just like the cover pic of one of her singles (Man Down.)

UMM let me break this down for you guys. If you know anything I.e NUDIE jeans. Diesel jeans > Armani Jeans is the denim sportswear line that is still under the Armani umbrella this is not the same as A/X which also makes jeans. Stop talking the “JEAN” part so literal. Itas a lifestyle like Guess jeans. In this ad she is selling the sweater as well as the leggings both are hot I might ad and yes she could have looked better but trust this will not be the only shot. Please if someone posts on CL make sure they are not ignorant on the material as to which their writing about. You know they think we are dumb already. When you put out dumb stuff and the others follow it keep breeding more stupidity. Please educate
I like that genuinely edgy look on her. On the other hand “NYC Photographer Steven Klein” obviously got inspired by Janet Jackson look on “Scream” video featuring Michael. It’s defenitely giving me that vibe.

Ummm… that looks like the black Justin Beiber. WTH is this? And her delusional and immature stans said she looks like a model/could be a model? LOL she looks so stupid. She’s trying too hard to look fierce and fashionable. I never got why her stans praised her photos. Rihanna is not photogenic whatsoever and she’s always being photoshopped to the fullest, especially in that Elle Magazine shoot she did earlier this year. They photoshopped her large nose , jawline, and cheekbones in this one. Are those even jeans? Megan Fox’s pictures weren’t all that for this brand, but they focused strictly on the jeans. I love Armani and wear Armani Exchange, but they disappointed me with this one; just stick to real fashion models.
I think Rhianna looks hot. The photo is hot. It looks like an ad you would see in any magazine. It’s fashion and I don’t see anything wrong with it. I also think that Rhianna is beautiful and she is one of the black women in hollywood who didn’t feel the need to get plastic surgery to try and be something that she’s not so if she has a large nose, jawline and cheekbones it’s what God gave her and she should never be ashamed of it. She’s beautiful just the way she is and more black women need to learn to love themselves. I don’t see one reason why she should have been in a sexier pose. All women want to do is take ass shot photos because their faces are a damn mess. You should be concerned about how you look in jeans from the back and the front. That’s why women are walking around now with their stomachs hanging over their jeans thinking it doesn’t matter how the front look as long as the back looks good. Sorry but Rhianna is high fashion and anyone who knows fashion knows that this is a fashion shot.
