Dawn Richard, who is not shy to groups, is currently working on her solo project, which she announced will be a trilogy album.
Check out “Love Won’t Lose,” produced by Rob Halladay, with whom Dawn worked frequently with in Dirty Money. The track is rumored to be lifted from the first installment of the trilogy, entiteld GoldenHeart. There’s no word on a lead single or solid release date.

Dawn has an incredible voice and from what I’ve seen she has a very eclectic taste in music but she doesn’t seem to draw from that instead she just does cliche r&b songs. I thought her music would be a bit more creative. The song is ok!

@Londonchick don’t worry. I’ve had the chance to listen to some of the music off of her upcoming album. One of my homeboys is working with her and it’s far from cliche R&B songs. It’s very militant, aggressive with influences from R&B, Hip-Hop, Rock & even country. She has a record that sounds like Sade. It’s INSANE! It’s R&B but R&B with a twist. When I heard a couple of the records, my jaw dropped to the ground. It’s material that is definitely out of the box and is going to put her in her own lane.
Interesting you describe it as “militant” & “aggressive”…all I heard was “I’ll give my soul to you” amongst the begging.

I love her voice and creativity, can’t wait for her official project. Her voice can ride the fuck out of a melodic track.
I love Dawn. I don’t love this song. In fact, this song makes me think she doesn’t have a distinctive enough voice to make it as a solo artist. For Dawn’s sake I hope I’m wrong.
U could never know music..because Brandy, Sade, Anita Baker, Toni Braxton etc..all have a altone pitched voice..and they all made it..Dawn can sang..she sounds good live..point blank period!!
