Fans have been waiting patiently for new music from Solange, so she took to her Twitter to give her fans a little something to hold them over while she prepares her third studio album, which is presently untitled.
Solange has been in the studio with Pharrell, with whom she collaborated with on her first single from her last album, “I Decided,” and it’s said that she is in the process of mixing her album right now.
Anyone else as excited as I am about her new album. I think we’ve entered a new era: The Solange Era. I like her sound more then ever. I think she has finally fallen into her own.

People don’t respect the art of production and music manipulation anymore… This song was sung continuously on the 1+3+5 of an 8 count and the lyrics could have been sung in many generic different ways….. In that aspect she keeps drawing you in with the way she sings it. Also i don’t know if anyone realized there was no generic bridge and the song read like a story… As a producer and artist solange is under-rated and i love her for the DIFFERENCE she brings to music. #geeked about the album.. and i think im gonna record my own version of this song cause i love it…
I really like how you broke everything down for everyone… This is a GREAT song and she is so under-rated as an artist but many dont realize they listen to her music everytime they listen to Beyonce or Destiny’s child cause she wrote a lot of music for them.. including GET ME BODIED and WHY DONT YOU LOVE ME from some of Bey’s recent efforts..

It’s pretty good, but the lyrical content is too middle of the road for someone like Solange..or maybe I’m used to her being slightly edgier than that.
I really hope she’ll be able to do something of the brilliance of the Sol-Angel album once again…tracks like “Cosmic Journey” and “Sandcastle Disco” were so ahead of their time in a way..

Wow. I really like it. I hate her style, but I LOVE the vocals on this song. If she changes her look up a bit she can really do some things, because she can dance, too. Come on, Solo..lose the whole afrocentric thing and step your style game up! And start wearing colors that match, LOL.
