Now that she has learned that she will be having a baby boy, Fantasia Burrino is fixin’ to have a baby shower real soon. According to RadarOnline, the former American Idol winner already has a date in mind and it happens to fall on the same day as the wedding anniversary of her man (Antwaun Cook) and his wife, Paula:
“Fantasia is really taking every opportunity she can to stick it to Antwaun’s ex,” a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com. “She’s planning her baby shower for October 1, which is Antwaun’s wedding anniversary with Paula. It’s the low of lows.” [...] “By planning her baby shower for that day, both Antwaun and Fantasia are showing complete disregard for Paula,” the source said. [...] “She’s already been through enough with everything that’s went down.”
Sources say that Fantasia is due to have her son in late December.

In this October 2011 ‘National Treasure’ issue, Mrs. Obama shares what her life was like as a mother before moving to D.C., talks about her views on fashion and touches on her plan to tackle various issues in the U.S. i.e. childhood obesity as well as those of people in countries around the world.
Inside, Upscale highlighted Michelle’s commencement speech at Spellman College back in May 2011, which left the graduates inspired and in awe:
“Some of you may have grown up like me, in neighborhoods where few had the chance to go to college.”

Singer Ashanti is back to the music game with a new single, “Never Too Far Away,” a song off the soundtrack to an upcoming movie Dream House. This L.T. Hutton-produced ballad showcases Ashanti’s gentle voice as she sings to the man she’d sacrifice anything for.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Morgan Creek, and such a talented group of individuals associated with this project. I’ve written all of my own records, songs for other artists, started my own record label, Written Entertainment, and wrote a book of poetry, so writing songs for film is a natural and exciting step of that evolution”
As far as Ashanti’s upcoming music, the songstress has been working on her new album and has yet to announce its title.
Frank Ocean is just dropping music videos back-to-back! After releasing his music video for his demo track, “Thinking About You”. The singer/songwriter is hitting us with yet another video, only this time it’s for his nostalgia, ULTRA single, “Swim Good”. The video was directed by Nabil.
