Halle Berry shot a few scenes for the upcoming film Cloud Atlas in the chilly city of Glasgow, Scotland on Thursday (September 15). The movie is an adaptation of the David Mitchell-novel about six people whose stories set in a different times and places, but “become intricately related to each other.” Berry, however, playsMeronym, one of the last “remnants of a technologically-advanced civilization”.
Halle will be acting alongside Tom Hanks, Susan Sarandon, David Gyasi, Jim Sturgess and Hugo Weaving. Glad to see her smiling more.
After being released and then placed back in prison for having an entourage on his way out, rapper T.I. aka Clifford Harris has been let out yet again and was ordered to go straight to the half-way house. The 30 year-old will be staying in the Atlanta halfway home to serve the rest of his sentence (Sept 29):
T.I.’s lawyer, Steve Sadow, tells TMZ, “We have good reason to believe that this favorable result was reached because of the proactive and assertive approach taken to protect T.I.’s rights by providing B.O.P. officials and the media with reliable and accurate information and that T.I. did not intend to violate his transfer furlough or any other B.O.P. rules en route from the prison facility in Arkansas to the halfway house in Atlanta.”
Sadow adds, “T.I. will be released from custody on Sept. 29, and then will be supervised by the U.S. Probation Office for a period of 1 year.” [Source]
Alright, T.I. Let’s not mess this chance up again. At least Mr. Harris will be able to bring in his 31st birthday with his family and friends!
In related news: T.I. has an upcoming novel entitled, Power & Beauty which is set to hit book stores on October 18th.
You may have heard of her, you may have not. But there’s no not recognizing singer/songwriter, MAAD*MOISELLE. She’s been performing all over Europe with the group Madcon on their single, “Outrun the Sun,” but she’s gearing up to release her first EP, Pardon My French.
MAAD co-wrote on every track from the EP, which includes the buzz single, “Glitter,” produced by Lady & A Tramp. While anticipating the release of Madcon’s second single, featuring herself and Ludacris, MAAD hopes to see her EP out for fall release.
