You had to know Beyoncé wasn’t going to be your typical mommy-to-be when it came to her maternity fashion. The ‘Love on Top’ singer recently revealed she’s due in February, but Bey has yet to start rocking official maternity gear. Instead Beyonce’s opting to keep her fashionable status in tact, by wearing regular clothes that happen to accommodate her expanding waistline.
For a quick stroll around NYC, Beyoncé sported this Rachel Pally tribal print maxi length dress. Taking some style inspiration from the Rachel Pally official website, Beyoncé added a belt to the dress, and completed the look with nude platform pumps, and a long jade necklace. Get her dress (whether you’re pregnant or not) from Rachel Pally on sale for $147. For over $100 less, try this $42 Aqua tribal print maxi dress from Bloomingdales.
Beyoncé was later seen running errands wearing a pair of sky high Alexander McQueen multi-buckle ski ankle boots. The black leather boots that feature an over five inch heel, are currently sold out. Try these $109 buckled booties from Victoria’s Secret instead.
Proving that not everything she wears is insanely expensive, Beyoncé stepped out with hubby Jay-Z, wearing a pair of $60 Topshop jersey tapered trousers. Of course she paired her low end piece with high end accessories (the bag, and the shoes), but she manages to make the pants look as expensive as everything else.
Lastly, amidst claims that she’s wearing a fake baby bump, Bey stylishly stepped out in NYC wearing a figure hugging dress that should put the rumors to rest. Her navy and black cut-out dress is by French label Carven, and is currently on sale at Opening Ceremony for $221, a big discount from it’s original $735 price tag. For an even better deal though, this $76 bodycon dress from eDressMe gives the same overall effect.
