I normally like Beyonce’s videos, but I do not like the lyrics, because alot of young women listen to her music. She also took some ideas from Whitney, she has done this style before. Please bring real music back.
why are people calling this “iconic” i guess it’s the die hard fans, and thats fine, but i like when she makes videos with a concept all the way thru, like “Best thing i never had” these videos with just a bunch of glamour shots are boring, im still pissed at what she did with “1+1″ i imagined that video to tell a story, shot in a nice remote location, and then when it came out i was like “WTF???” is she even trying anymore?
The unique thing about Beyonce is you never know what to expect. She is versatile in so many ways but compentent with her talent. Name one other artist that brings takes creative risks like her and kills it. The thing about her taking a break burns my skin to the core! Cause when she first came out everyone wished her the best and shes stated time and time again tht she loves what she do and clearly she has a God given talent why not take full advantage?? Everyone also wanted her to get pregnant well she is now and that should not lead her to sittting on her ass not doing anthing……The video is different, bold, and cute. I love Bey to death. She will always face backlash cause shes so talented and it shows

See I don’t think she takes risks… I think the only thing we can say 100% she has done that no one has done before is Crazy in Love. Everything else.. from Spice Girl Girl Power to Jay swagger to Prince in 1+1 to Josephine Baker in Deja Vu to to Audrey Hepburn in this video. She has just copied someone else and remixed it to a hip hop-pop beat. She does a good job! She looks good! She works hard and markets it and sells that shit like it’s going out of style. But she ain’t taking us higher.
