With their 10th studio album Twenty on the way, Boyz II Men dropped a visually inspiring music video for their Khris & Al/Babyface-produced song, “One Up For Love”. Their newest double-disk album Twenty is set to hit stores on Tuesday, October 25. The first CD will have 13 new tracks while the second will have 8 re-recordings of their previous hit singles.
When they premiered this single last month, founding member, Wanye Morris explained the meaning behind the song:
“One Up For Love” was a record I heard and my jaw hit the floor. It felt like a movement, like an anthem — we live our lives talking and singing about love. This song felt like a song that everyone can relate to on a global level. We all struggle, we all question, yet LOVE always pulls us together. From family, moms/dads, friends, sisters, and brothers to events that happen — if we all put love first, things will work out.”
Sounds like christian rock/pop music. Looking forward to more though.
yeah it does…and i don’t like it..

I LOVE , REAL SOUND’S GOOD JOB !!
Those boys just brought back some good memories of what good music is.
I’m tired of seeing desperate folks rearing their nasty crotches at my television screen and calling it art.
I so agree with you. These guys are really great singers and their messages have always been positive. I really dig this song, but its Boyz II Men they can sing Mary Had A Little Lamb and it would still sound fly!
I agree, this is real music and so refreshing. I love Boys II Men!
I love Boys II Men..I think they should be recognize as one of the great-best men group their songs are inspiring!
inspirational1!
ONE UP FOR LOVE!!!!
LOVE IT!!!
It’s good to see them back.
This was a cool anthem for humankind. I also see they are working towards MAKING THAT MONEY by exhibiting all that diversity within the video but then again…they are an international brand.
they need to stop tryna make a come back http://www.mediacheckout.net/
i like the new song they have with charlie wilson but i’m not feelin them without michael (the bass)
Excellent. But hey, I expect nothing but excellence from B2M. Did anyone else catch the rasta colors in the sky? Yellow, Green, & Red?
I see they trying to aim for the pop market with this one, but I do like the lyrics and meaning behind the song. Great to see that they stuck together for 20 years. I’ll preview the cd when it comes out to see if I like it.
It’s always refreshing to hear good music
My all time fav group. I’m 24 and I will always be a fan, Forget trey sogz! This is the REAL R&B!!!!
The fat one definitely needs to lose weight. He ain’t getting any younger and Mr. Diabetes will pay a visit to his home soon if he don’t make some changes.
i will always fux w/ Boys II Men. Was just listening to “50 Candles” and “Trying Times” this past weekend….those voices! Get it boys!
One time in one of my upper classes in college I had to give a 20 minute presentation on the Ford Motor Company. 16 weeks of work boiled down to 20 minutes. I put in countless hours at the library because I wanted a perfect store. In the end I got a 99? Are you wondering why I’m telling this story or what it has to do with the topic? My professor deducted one point off my grade because I spelled his name wrong in the first slide on my power point.
In short, It’s W-A-N-Y-A Morris, NOT WAYNE MORRIS!
*crickets*
I guess she’s saying some people need to use spell check.
Kena, what I’m basically saying is that if you’re going to write about someone, the least you can do is spell their name right.
As much as I like this site (and I’ve been coming here for years) sometimes it feels like certain bloggers put no more effort into their blogs than a google search.
And this is why i love these men!!!!!!!!!!!
too much music going on.
