Erykah Badu offers part two of her self-directed music video trilogy for “Out My Mind, Just in Time”, the final track from 2010′s New Amerykah Part Two (Return of the Ankh). Ms. Badu explained the multiple movements and says to expect the third video before year’s end. Videos for Movements I and II are included below.
“The first movement is called ‘Recovering Undercover Over-lover.’ It actually sums up the whole album, because I’m talking about love and emotion – ‘I need you to do this,’ ‘I want you to do this,’ ‘You make me feel like this,’ ‘Why don’t you feel like this?’ It’s typical of how you feel in relationships. The second movement is called … ‘Easier Said Than Done,’ and it’s about how hard it is to change after you’ve been in a relationship for so long. And then the third movement is called ‘But Not This Time,’ because even though I’ve done things a certain way for so long, I won’t do that this time”.

She is definitely one of those types of artists in which you have to appreciate their artistry in order to appreciate their music. I still think her album last year was the best R&B album of 2010, just underrated.
Ms Badu is an inspiration !!! Got to love her for taking these steps !!! She is a leader in herself! Those videos are pure expressions of feelings that lurk in us all the time…. Keep them Coming !
