Common is very talented but this song was a confession to his worshiping of the sun god….that is why he said that when he “sees the blue sky, that’s the lord comin’ through…”. He is talking about the rise of the sun. In order to become “famous”, you must worship the sun god….believe it or not.

To ascend in the entertainment industry, you must worship the sun god. If he truly worshiped the Son of God, he would not have a foot hold in the entertainment industry.
