Earlier this week, two women got into a heated argument with a McDonald’s cashier shortly after ordering their food. The three of them exchanged many profane words, causing the disagreement to escalate. During the confrontation with the employee, one of the 24-year-old women slapped the 31-year-old man in the face and things took a turn for the worse:
Just past midnight on Thursday the argument began between employee 31-year old Rayon McIntosh and two friends, a 24-year-woman from Queens whose family ask we not use her name and 24-year-old Rachel Edwards of Brooklyn.
It escalates to where one of the women slaps McIntosh in the face. He retreats, as one woman climbs over the counter and the other walks around. They both confront him when he appears with a large pipe. He starts swinging. [Source]
What the two ladies did not know was that McIntosh has “served time in prison for manslaughter”. One of the ladies is in the hospital for a broken arm & fractured skull while the other had a laceration. Both women have been charged with menacing & trespassing. As far as the employee, McIntosh, he faces a felony assault and weapons charge. He has been fired and is no longer allowed to work for the fast food franchise.
One local resident watched the video and commented on the incident’s footage:
“Absolutely unacceptable for anyone to think they can jump a counter and threaten people that work anywhere. The pipe is a bit extreme but as a working man, anywhere you work you have right to defend yourself.”

I am not disputing that what these women did was wrong, i am challenging his reaction. Lets say hitting them was a form of defence.. and he felt very threatened.. was that number of hits adequate or necessary?! Bones were broken. How can you justify that many hits? This man didnt have a whole lot of time (like we do) to review his actions. Im not saying he was right or wrong. I am saying this man was assaulted, battered and persued by people he did not know. If they had stopped there I would say they didn’t deserve a beating, but one of them actually jumped over the counter and went ‘to get some’. What did she pursue him for? I’m not mad at the guy. I don’t blame him because who knows what they could’ve had on them, I DO think it was a bit much to keep beating them but serves them right. I don’t work at a fast food restaurant but I do have to deal with customers and I’d be lying if I said doing something similar has never crossed my mind.
Had a ghetto piece of shit talk down to me at work one day. I was so mad I couldn’t fill out the incident report, my hands were shaking so bad. The manager must have thought I was too upset. I didn’t tell her I was only upset because I wanted to kill her dead but couldn’t.
I’ve never had to go as far as filling out an incident report but I have had managers have to intervene in certain situations after MALE customers start yelling and cussing at me when I’m only following the company’s policy. And I have been so upset that I didn’t even know what to do with myself.

As much as the women were wrong, dude had issues. He shot and killed a guy when he was 19 years old over an “argument”. The way he CONTINUED to beat them over and over after they were already down showed that he had some deep deep issues. What was even worse was that the employees didn’t try to stop it hard enough. Those women absolutely had no right to put their hands on him, and he did have the right to defend himself. But to continue beating them that way was just overboard. It didn’t look like he COULD stop. Quite possibly (or obviously), this man has some serious issues. Because most people would have stopped. This is one of the reasons you you don’t mess with people, no matter how bad you think you are. You never know what’s going on with someone. And these two women found that out the hard way.
I do think (although I know it won’t happen) that those women, at least the one who slapped him, should also be charged with assault. Just because she ended up getting her tail beat does not negate that fact that she hit him first. And apparently they intended to hit him some more! For them to just so cockily walk around the counter like that, shows how ridiculous people have gotten these days.

Um no, he has the law on his case for killing someone sometime back & hit two women (WHO DID NOT HAVE ANY MAJOR WEAPONS ON THEM) with a pipe. It is how the single person handles the situation, and he was in the wrong…and too damn old to know better enough not to do the mess that he did. The girls would’ve gotten arrested & he would’ve still been free & been able to take care of his family…that is IF he does handle his responsiblities, which judging by his short & violent temper is most likely Not the case.Two wrongs don’t make a right my brother.

I work in customer service while its not Mcdonalds its for a large cable company and we get people cussing and yelling at us and who act like they wanna do harm to us all the time… That’s why I’m so thankful for the security glass and all the security measures we have in place to protect us from our customers. Cause that could very well have been me that was provoked by some crazy customers. I’m in no way saying what he did was right.. but at what point are you allowed to defend yourself???
This footage really isn’t all that graphic to me because those women were 200 percent out of line, and they deserved to be treated as such. He definitely should not have beaten them with a metal pipe like that, but I’m sure he just snapped. My good friend is like 6’1, 260. He had one of these run up on him while were in the club one night for eyeing it’s woman (he didn’t know). Yeah, unfornately there are people who have ASSAULT records and get good jobs. There are people working right now that would fail the urine test if they didn’t use someone else’s urine(disgusting). It was self defense, what was he to do? Allow them to beat on him until the police came, the women were aggressive and he didn’t know what their intentions were. I hope this guy is not charged, yes he had a criminal past but they provoked him and he should be able to defend himself. I’m going to be neutral with this. The girls was wrong starting off. I don’t know what they was thinking but they should never harass or attack an employee if he didn’t do anything wrong for them to react. I don’t agree with him beating them to death with the metal rod but he did have the rights to defend himself. McDonald should be liable for hiring and placing at easily tempered person on the register to deal with customer. He was better off being the cook. I also blame the employees for not stopping the girls for coming behind the counter to fight the employee that they slapped. The injuries could have been prevented.
