Singer/actress Naturi Naughton visited Fuse Studios in New York City Saturday afternoon (October 15) in New York City. The 27-year-old singer rocked fall look, accented with a furred top and ankle-high black boots.
In related news, the new ABC series The Playboy Club, which co-starred Naturi was recently canceled after just 3 episodes.
In a recent interview with CYinterview, 
she spoke about the challenges of being a black actress in Hollywood:
We all go through struggles as black actresses in general and black actors. So you know it can be limiting when there aren’t enough things written for you in major movies and major television, so it’s such an accomplishment and a big deal when we as women and also being brown skinned women, gets the opportunity to portray some of the roles when they’re aren’t so many for us. So I said that I think in referencing what other challenges you face as a darker skinned actress and there are challenges and you know I’ve lived through them and dealt with them and I’m actually motivated by everything that I’ve been through. And what I would say is we have come such a long way. ..I think just as black women we are doing some great, great powerful things and I think it’s on the up and up and there will be more for hopefully the next generation after me and that’s my goal. what does being black gotta do with the playboy club being cancelled. with the Vh1 Basketball Wives, Atlanta Wives being so popular, they are all black girls and people tune in. Maybe the Playboy Club should have had more hott black girls on it, Nati sld just get prepared for her next role.

@Angel..you’re so right…I watched the Playboy Club and IMO the difference is what made the show interesting–I enjoyed it…I also feel had it been on a HBO etc, maybe it would have stayed on….
Im sorry but all that drama from those reality shows are a disgrace —I don’t watch any reality t.v Only know of it because of M T O smdh….I also hate when people say….it’s making us look bad….sorry…..It’s making “that particular person” look bad…not me…WHEN YOU KNOW BETTER–YOU DO BETTER

“The Playboy Club” was actually REALLY good, I know when people think “Playboy” they just think Naked women but the storyline was from the beginning was getting DEEP. If the show’s name was something different, and the club workers just had on bunny suits it would still be on the air. Lets be real, people watch Snooki & Vinny fuck on TV every week.
Anyway, Naturi is a good actress and singer. I hope she gets some more challenging roles, because I think she’s been given whatever they give her. I want her to do something “Deeper”. She looks amazing in those pictures too.

Problems with being a BLACK actress? Or a BAD actress? Two different things. I watch one episode of Playboy club , Pan Am, and Charlie’s Angels. BORING!…..
I knew Playboy club was going to get cancelled before I watched the first episode. Those shows dont last on basic cable. Time pieces need to be on either Sho/HBO or AMC. I watched all episodes though and they were very good. I LOVE Pan AM! but im sure it has a ticking clock as well.
As far as Naturi, its just so sad that in 2011 we still have actresses fighting to even be auditoned due to their color. I dont think shes a great actress though so maybe that has something to do with it as well.
I believe Playboy Club was on NBC, and not ABC. Charles Angel’s, which recently got cancelled as well, was on ABC.
