With three months left in the year 2011, BET has dropped a mini-preview of the new season of popular television series, THE GAME. At the end of season four, Derwin (Pooch Hall) and Melanie (Tia Mowry-Hardict) had issues getting pregnant, while at the doctor’s office the question of a past abortion was asked and lets just say it got interesting. Malik’s (Hosea Chanchez) career & love life continued to go in a downward spiral and Jason Pitts (Cory Bell)’s old flame, Camille (Stacey Dash) made a re-appearance in his life while at a press conference for Malik’s replacement. Last but not least, Tasha (Wendy Raquel Robinson) and Melanie have a heated argument about the advancement of Derwin’s career that ends badly.
Now this new season will feature more drama with some new celebrity cameos! Singer Brandy and comedian/actor DeRay Davis are both getting back to a little bit of television acting. Check out the sneak peek clip of the show’s forthcoming season, which premieres January 2012.

Kelly is gone. For financial reasons.
She did 5-6 episode last season out of 13.
She was the highest paid actress(before BET took over) and may have wanted more money that BET didnt agree to or afford.

This show was so banging. The scenarios were too real. I was embarrassed to watch sometimes. I was so glad when they bought it back. I cant wait to see the new episodes. I heard that the sexy rapper DK from Kounty Boyz is going to make an appearance. My panties are already wet.

Black people just cant support other black people. Why is that? All that has changed is the network it is on. The show has the same writers, so how did BET mess up the show? GTFOH!!!LOL
So true, black folk, especially most black women always complaining about something. They complain when a black man is with an unattractive black women accodring to them and will bash her until he dumps her for a non black and then they will say it figures. Too much of an idiot, primate brain to see their part in the scenario. Go make the movies yourself and guess what, something will be wrong with that too. Blacks are more oppressive to other blacks than white folks have ever been, including slavery. Let black people be whoever thay want to be, stop limiting and demanding from each other, be free to do you. Get busy doing something besides complaining an oppresing other blacks creativity, at least they arent sitting around.
I just think like everyone in society we have been programmed and so many of us are oblivious to that fact. We put each other down so often because we have been put down so much as people, that we start believing what everyone has been saying about us over decades. It wont change unless we figure that out and relaize we aren’t the people they make us portray on t.v..when we figure that out and recognize we have so much to offer to our society we can then support each other more often.
The game is no longer the same game that it was in the previous years. This show has had some serious altering and it doesn’t do the show any good. I don’t feel the same way that I use to feel about it. The characters are over dramatic and trying to hard. Bet always finds a way to screw something up. Don’t ever do business with BET! If you watched seasons 1-3 you can clearly see the difference….

I love seeing a black show do so well, however I’am hoping that Melanie get’s back on track with her career instead of just making her life about Derwin. Melanie is not at fault for wanting to know if derwin’s baby was his, she just went about it the wrong way. Tasha and melanie were never really good friends, so I dont really care about the beef they are having. I miss Kelly, hopefuuly she will be back. Derwin is getting on my nerves always confused about what he wants..and malik needs to get it together!! I’m hoping that this show will last, but takes a more positive turn..love the drama, but sometimes the message they send isn’t good:) I Love Tia Mowry!!
