Actors Samuel L. Jackson and Angela Bassett star in The Mountaintop, which depicts the night before the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Check out an exclusive look from Playbill at the Broadway play, which officially opens Thursday (October 13) and is already receiving rave reviews.
In his Broadway debut, Jackson says he wants to enlighten young people who don’t really know who Dr. King was. Check out all the videos below for more info.

I could not finish watching the second video bc I was perturbed by the amount of lip gloss Samuel L Jackson was wearing. Interesting how Angela Basset always gets chosen for these roles and plays the role of the passive, docile, programmed black woman.
