The lovely ladies of WEtv’s Braxton Family Values invited about 100 guests to attend the Season 2 premiere event for the second season of their reality show. The private screening was held at the Tribeca Grand Hotel on Tuesday night ( November 8 ) in New York City.
Evelyn (Miss E), Traci, Towanda, Trina and Tamar posed for the red carpet looking nice and glamorous. Others like Egypt Sherrod, American Idol’s Anwar Robinson, Bevy Smith and I Do Over‘s Diann Valentine stopped by to show their support.
Attendees got a glimpse of the new season’s first episode and got a chance to ask the ladies a few questions during their Q&A session. You can catch the new season premiere of Braxton Family Values on Thursday, November 10 at 9pm EST/PST. More photos below the fold…

It has been about 7 months since Mariah Carey gave birth to her two children, Monroe and Moroccan Scott Cannon. Now the chart-topping vocalist has come out of hiding, and has revealed her new figure on The Rosie Show. After successfully losing 70 pounds, the 41-year-old singer has been named the new celebrity spokesperson for Jenny Craig.
With the help of their weight-loss program, Carey was able to drop 30 pounds. In a recent interview USA Today, Mariah talked about the difficulty of her pregnancy:
“I was walking around the house, pregnant and miserable, looking at mirrors and saying: “Why did I put so many mirrors in my house?’ ”
“Edema was the probably the most painful thing I went through during my pregnancy. My legs looked three times the size of what my legs do right now. I thought I would never be the same person again.”
After the twins were born, “I lost a lot of water weight initially, and then I lost 30 pounds on top of that.” [Source]
