If the name Tristan Wilds sounds familiar to you, it may be because you’ve seen his acting chops on hit TV shows like The Wire and CW’s 90210.
Now the 22 year old has released his first EP, entitled Remember, Remember, via his Twitter and Tumblr. It is said that Wilds has signed a deal with Ten2one and will release his first studio album at the top of next year.
Legendary boxer Joe Frazier died Monday, just months after he was diagnosed with liver cancer, his family said in an official statement.
“We The Family of … Smokin’ Joe Frazier, regret to inform you of his passing,” the statement said. “He transitioned from this life as ‘One of God’s Men,’ on the eve of November 7, 2011 at his home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.”
Smokin’ Joe, was born in Beaufort, South Carolina in 1944 and started boxing early on. He is a 1964 Olympic Gold Medal winner 
and is best known his famous boxing bouts with Muhammad Ali in the 1970s, including the “Fight of the Century” where he was one of the first people to ever beat Ali and of course the “Thrilla in Manila”.
During the height of his career, he was unmercifully taunted and disrespected by Ali and in March 2011, he spoke with NY Daily News:
“I forgave him for all the accusations he made over the years. I hope he’s doing fine. I’d love to see him.”
Sadly that reunion will never happen. While reading of the sad news in ESPN, I came across this comment from a reader that said:
Part of Joe’s incredible legacy is you can’t talk about Ali’s without the name Frazier being mentioned… Joe is, and always will be an ICON. RIP Champ.
Jennifer Hudson continues to flaunt her amazing new figure, this time on the other side of the world, celebrating American fashion in Tokyo. Joined by some of fashion’s elite, including designer Michael Kors and US Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, Jennifer took her considerable talents to Japan and participated in Fashion’s Night Out Tokyo.
There, she celebrated the opening of the new Michael Kors boutique along with the designer himself.

The following night Jennifer joined Kors, and U.S Ambassador to Japan John Roos to celebrate American Fashion at the US Ambassadors Residence in Tokyo, Japan. She again wore Michael Kors, this time opting for a floor length gown from the Spring 2012 collection. The black dress featured a gold python trim around the neckline.

Now that the cast of the Tyler Perry’s cast has been announced, they have begun filming The Marriage Counselor in Atlanta, Georgia. Lance Gross tweeted from the set and shared a pic of himself and Jurnee Smollett looking years younger.
Alongside Gross and Smollett, Brandy Norwood and Vanessa Williams was recently added to the cast. Norwood will be playing Gross’ co-worker while Vanessa will play Smollett’s mother.
Although many people don’t agree with Tyler Perry adding soon-to-be newly divorced Kim Kardashian to the roster, the director/playwright has responded by saying, “She is scheduled to work as planned.”
