Former CSI actor Gary Dourdan was arrested for suspicion of felony battery on Sunday night, after getting into an argument with his former girlfriend, Maria Asis del Alamo and allegedly breaking her nose:
We’re told a former girlfriend went to Dourdan’s home in Venice, CA Sunday night. Cops received a disturbance call at around 9 PM, arrived at the house but the woman had already left. While the cops were there, someone called LAPD and said an injured woman was in a nearby alley — it was Dourdan’s ex. Cop looked her over and it appeared she had a broken nose and she said Dourdan was the culprit. [Source]
The Jump the Broom actor is being held in jail, with his bail price set at $50,000. This isn’t the first time the 44-year-old actor has gotten into trouble with the law. At least it’s not an incident dealing with ecstasy…

@ Visha I thought I was the only one that caught that “at least” comment… So ridiculous that after a story is reported about a man physically harming a woman we dump it down to “at least” it wasn’t ecstasy…How about its better if he does ecstasy cause at least he’s harming himself!

What I find disturbing is that in the original story NO WHERE DOES IT STATE WHO THE “EX GIRLFRIEND” is! Why are they assuming it’s this girl? She lives in SPAIN. Not to say it can’t be her but they act like Gary doesn’t move on quick. IN fact if you google him within the past year you will find many pictures with him being seen with another spanish looking chick and this one looks like a WOMAN. Not that it matters much who the ex is, but if it is in fact not this girl, I would sue!
Lastly, the ecstasy comment was off the wall. That was another piece of misinformation. Gary was found to have had OXYCOTIN (sp) on him. Hillbilly heroin and that charge was later dropped by the DA when “new evidence” was provided. The drug P charge was kept and haven’t heard anything about it.
Wow, where is the compassion concerning either person? If he did abuse her, where is the compassion? Also, Gary needs some help. Let’s have a kind word?

I agree I would have preferred him to do ecstacy and destroy own HIS life not someone else’s and to those blaming the woman for going there you all need psychological help because whether she walked in that house or was dragged there is no just cause for physical violence to anyone period. HE BROKE HER NOSE people how bad does it need to get to start taking it serious? I give up

Like Petra, I too am very confused! On one hand TMZ reports that is was Maria Del Alamo, then there is this article stating that it was some chick named Nicole Cannizzaro. Which is it? Or is maria just an alias for Nicole? Someone please confirm.
