I never realized Tribe Called Quest — Midnight Marauders and the Wu Tang’s first album dropped on the same day. Damn those were the good old days when you actually listened to the entire album from beginning to end. When lyical skills and creative beats mattered. Now it’s all the same lame shit.
Amen!!! The youngin’s now don’t appreciate the music back in the day. It had substance and meaning. It was not all about sex, guns, and drugs. Some hip hop tracks made you think- Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Heavy D, CL Smooth, I can go on. Now the music has lost its way completely especially in Hip Hop and R&B. Now the current R&B artist want to do tech pop and it’s horrible, and the ones who stay true, the youngins say they are boring, SMH. Anyways Congrats on Tribe Called Quest and WU TANG for releasing there albums 18 years ago.

Midnight Marauders is such a great album. It should be on the list of albums you must hear before you die.
