Comedian Tasha Smith (star of the upcoming ‘For Better of For Worse’ TBS series) rolled through The Wendy Wiliams Show on Monday (November 21). The actress talked about her upcoming marriage anniversary, being lactose intolerant with her husband and shared her past stint as a stripper, while trying to make it to her real passion: comedy.
On deciding to reveal her past job title:
This is what I always. I say you tell your business before somebody else can try and tell your business. Because you know people will do that Wendy, if they one little thing about you, they’ll try to put your stuff on front street. But thank God I am not ashamed of my past. I had to support my comedy career. Okay!On preferring to work at non-African American populated clubs:
Oh, honey, I couldn’t mess with black people. You know why? Because you know, you don’t tip enough and then you gotta work too hard for Black people. I was like I’m not trying to break a hip, okay? I’m just trying to make a couple dollars to get to the comedy club!
