Cassie took to her Twitter to address some impersonations that have been going on over the past couple of months. Check out her full open letter here (LINK).
According to her, females have been impersonating her and close friend Lauren London, by using e-mail addresses and area codes as phone numbers. They have been getting men to fly purchase gifts and plane tickets, by fooling people into believe that they are the two.
This is an interesting scenario, but seriously, what man is buying plane tickets and buying gifts for a girl that they’ve never met before? It’s gonna take a little more than an e-mail address, some photos from someone’s Twitter to get me to spend money…

Just because a woman has her own money doesn’t mean she wants to spend it. LOL Just take a Beyonce and JayZ type of relationship. True, Bey is paid but of course Jay still spends his money on her. That’s what men do. I’m not surprised at the fact that they were buying things for these girls because whether or not these girls can afford to do it themselves, if a man in another city/state wants to see you and spend time with you then yes, he needs to arrange for the transportation. Also, these dudes believed they were really talking to a certain caliber of woman that would require airfare, gifts etc. They knew they couldn’t come half stepping.
Although we have many men out there that would do anything for a little piece of ass..but if i was a men i would’t spend my money on Cassie better yet jump off lauren London smh.

I’m sorry but I have no sympathy on the dumb ass athletes and entertainers she’s referring to. One thing I’ve learned is that men go ape shyt crazy and dumb and dumber, dumb over a piece of ass. The thought that Lauren London or Cassie is jocking them and that they might have a chance at a piece of azz is motivation enough for them to spend their money on two bishes they’ve never even met. Personally, I find it funny as hell and stand by the notion of that’s what their dumb asses get.
Though anything is possible, somehow I’m not buying this story.
