Rapper/actor Drake dropped by the Chelsea Lately show on Tuesday evening (November 22) in promotion for his latest album. The Take Care artist talked about his love for white wine, fellow Jewish rappers and when he first met Lil Wayne.
When asked about his music and sharing awkward moments with a woman he’s written a song about:
————— Drake: I guess the thing is I’m very honest in my music, so it can make for an awkward room…
Chelsea: I totally understand, but usually if you write a song about someone and you’re still hanging out with that person, it’s probably a pretty good song and fairly positive about that person?
Drake: Yeah. Sort of. Or you just sort of have a relapse issue with exes…
Chelsea: Oh, you have one of those problems? You’re not able to cut the cord?
Drake: Sometimes. I guess. Sort of. I think I have issues letting go, maybe? Maybe I’m discovering it right now and this actually isn’t a talk show. It’s a therapy session. [laughs] —————
Speaking of music, Drake’s Take Care album is at the #1 spot for his first week of album sales, with a whopping total of 659,190 units sold. That makes his album the 3rd highest selling album in 2011. Congratulations to him!
I wonder if Chelsea know how whack she is, she is not pretty and her jokes are never funny but people laughing like they’re getting paid for it.
I guess they pretend to be laughing at the jokes when they are actually laughing at her lol!
with todays amazing technology, im suprised cd’s are still being made. I would never buy a cd because i don’t see the need for em. Ill just use my ipod or my phone and just blast the volume-and that’s in the car around my dorm, etc. CD players are acient so i thought cd’s would follow but i guess not.
I like Drake. He has this sweet, boyish charm about him and he’s very genuine in his lyrics. Congrats to all of his success!

I like his new album. His combination of r&b and rap is well executed. My favorite song is “Look What Youve Done”. I am the opposite of Drake, being that I am predominantly a singer who raps. Check out my music if you have the time

Drake, has done it again jump in your ride ipod, or whatever device you have to listen. This guy is def On One.. he serves up some killer lyrics along with great ballads especially in someone different ft stevie wonder… great cd to chill to.
drake is not that attractive but his charm makes up for it he dont try n be something he not he even wear the same clothes over n over lol he real he said money dont make him o ya get his album its the business
