As many of you know, Questlove and The Roots are the in-house band for the nightly talk show Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. They’re also known for choosing appropriate and fitting tracks to accompany their celebrity guests as they make their entrance.
Well on Monday night’s show, the Philadelphia-natives decided to make a funny, yet political statement about republican congresswoman, Michele Bachmann by performing the Fishbone track, “Lyin’ A** B****” as her entrance music. What’s unfortunate is that presidential candidate had no idea what song was being played! I think the audience had more of a clue because we can barely hear the audience’s applause as she made her way out. Shade. Lol

i’m not a fan of michelle bachmann whatsoever, she’s insipid and i feel she panders to the lower common denominator but with all that said i’ve never heard of the song before and wouldn’t have known that’s what they were playing unless you brought this to our attention but that was very disrespectful of them.
