lol. thank you. This looks like a straight to DVD, lower-budget, black version of “He’s Just Not that Into You” – only at least you never heard the author of that book’s name in that movie, let alone in the sub-title, which cheapens the tone of the entire production, IMHO. But for some reason some black people tend to need to plug themselves and their accomplishments until it’s just cringe-worthy. But anyway, A for effort, I guess.

@Troof I also was a little surprised seeing that they’re pushing the actual book in our faces. The main focus of a movie is to tell a story, but it looks like this particular film is acting more like a commercial that wants to sell a physical product. Hopefully the scenes of them referring to the book and the author are few and far between.

I was offended at you guys comments up until I viewed the trailer, and boy were you guys right. Hmm.. the lack of black in Hollywood truly speak in its art. So typical – so so typical! Seeing films like these makes me so confident that my ideas will soon be picked up, because this shit looks so cliche you can tell they just pick anything…

This movie does not look original at all, nor does it have an original plot, it looks like every other movie that Gabrielle Union has starred in, Breakin All the Rules, Deliver Us from Eva, The Brothers and Two Can Play that Game all roled into one.
I agree it looks like all of these movies you mentioned with the same actors and actresses… what are those the only actors and actresses that are able to work together? they have all been in a movie together before already (all except ealy and chrisbrown) will I see the movie maybe but i am not in a rush because it looks predictable…. after the women go by what the book says they will realize that men will be men and they will stay with them in the end

I think it’s funny how we all have something to say and we all have opinions about other people living out their dream. Everyone from the extras to the author of the book are just doing their thing, we can like it or not, but we really can’t knock their hustle or the opportunity awarded to them. When people start living out their own dreams, I believe there will be less commentary and more living and enjoying life!
Refreshing. It reminds of this movie called “Down with Love” with Renee Zellweger, it was about a book that made women act differntly with men. it was hilarious…this will be too!
