SYNOPSIS:
A successful, wealthy businessman, Wesley Deeds (Tyler Perry) has always done what’s expected of him, whether it’s assuming the helm of his father’s company, tolerating his brother’s misbehavior at the office or planning to marry his beautiful but restless fiancée, Natalie (Gabrielle Union). But Wesley is jolted out of his predictable routine when he meets Lindsey (Thandie Newton), a down-on-her-luck single mother who works on the cleaning crew in his office building. When he offers to help her get back on her feet, the chance encounter with someone so far outside his usual circle ignites something in Wesley. This one good deed may finally spark his courage to exchange the life that’s expected of him for the life he’s always really wanted.

TYLER PERRY’S GOOD DEEDS was written, produced and directed by Tyler Perry, and stars Perry, Thandie Newton, Brian White, Rebecca Romijn, Jamie Kennedy, Eddie Cibrian, Jordenn Thompson, Beverly Johnson, with Phylicia Rashad, and Gabrielle Union.

Tyler Perry is the man. He clocking on his way to catching up with Oprah, powerfully speaking. More power to him and cant wait to see this offering he’s serving up.

Oh wow! Lionsgate? MEGA! U could tell by the name what this movie is “supposed to be about”. Isnt it said u cant judge a book by its cover?

  3. Tay

I usually skip the TP movies (I’ve only paid to see one of them), but this may spark my interest. We shall see.

  4. collegirl12

This movie actually looks good. I might actually go and see this one in theaters and I have never seen a Tyler Perry movie at the theater, well accept for the first Why Did I Get Married movie.

  5. LadyA

I love all of his movies and plays. The only movie i’ve missed is the family that preys, but will get around to it. Thandie Newto is one heck of an actress.

  6. Bk all day

Look like he trying to evolve out of the Madea Character. Let’s see can he pull it off.

  7. LOVECONCRETELOOP

    I’m impressed! #Ready

  8. Felicia

looks great as always!!! Looking forward 2 checking that out. I always leave his films with a renewed mind!! Thks Tyler Perry!!

  9. NetWorking

Wow…where I’m at in my life right now…Support black film.

  10. TRP

The Trailer was really boring, but hopefully it’s better than it looks. Tyler, please please get some different black actors for your films! Look for undiscovered talent, or resurrect some actors that we haven’t seen for several years. Glad to see Thandie Newton and Tyler back together, she KILLED “For Colored Girls”, however Gabrielle Union could have been left on the sideline…horrible actress.

    • DJ Mutha

100% agree…could not have said it better…agree with the entire post

    • Noname

TRP…. You said it all. Love Gabrielle but she cannot act to save her life…. poor thing. And i absolutely agree that he should use undiscovered talents too. My view is that he should mix the well know (for obvious reasons) with talented unknown. He can truly help the unknown actors to break into the acting scene. Imagine if he used a handful of fresh talents in every new movie. That would be amazing. Talk about opening up the market.
He should do it now that he is still bankable.

And i can see this movie is a lot more positive than other projects he has made.. Well done Tyler.

    • YUP

      I Agree completely.
He should hook my mans up…Christopher Williams. I saw one of his plays, the man can act! Oh and Janet Hubert, she is a true thespian. Jill Marie Jones could use a J.O.B. I also wouldn’t mind seeing Ms. Anika Noni Rose on the big screen more often. The list goes on and on.

    • LadyA

He uses a lot of new talents in his shows and plays.

  11. THECONCRETELOOPIST

I actually love Tyler Perry now, eventhough he fed me shade at the drag show back in 1999 at Traxx. I hope he continues his Madea character as well. Although some didn’t like it, I just watched Madea’s “Big Happy Family” for the first time last night and I think my insides are still tickeled from the fast food drive-thru scene. A talented and “VERY RICH” man.

    • Dozeki

Sigh must you bust out that dusty “he looked at me funny at a gay bar” story everytime you post here, damn, either give him him his props or don’t.

  12. ljk

rot everyone who hates on this extremely gifted brother then, you really need to stop it and support him. We already don’t have enough black filmmakers.

  13. Tasha25

Wow, this actually looks pretty good. I’ll have to check it out.

  14. Kyla

Wow, this is kind of different for him.
It looks pretty decent, I’ll check it out.

  15. o2mile23

i agree . i may like this movie. Lately I have been over the llast cuple movies TP has created. I think serves positive outcome:)

  16. caramelapple

That’s right Tyler! Keep doing you. Cant wait to see this movie, the trailer was great.

  17. I Run New York

This looks a lot better than the movie he’s doing with Kim Kardashian.

  19. blackmann

why Thandie Newton have job in black movies and black comminuty when she is not black, she date only ugly pale gay white men and she don’t give a f’ck and don’t give a sh’t about black ppl, race, black kids huh?! why you black women support to all these sellout fake azz black or mixed wh0res/hoes to date/marry outside of race and happy if they give birth these ain’t-black ugly white looking kids for white race but keep talking sh’t about black men huh?!

    • CMJ

AMEN!…they always try to get Thandie to play these roles!…and if she can actually act it damn sure ain’t in these roles..u can tell she doesn’t have a clue how to play a black woman!….and thats because nothing shes a fuckin sell out!

    • UKinTheHouse

wow, please shut the hell up and learn how to string a sentence together properly. Your grammar is disgraceful, your talking nothing but rubbish, and naming yourself “BLACKMANN” is just making us all look bad.

  20. lOLA b

@ BLACKMANN Thandie is black and she is a good actress…. thats my concern is she can act well… not who shes laying in bed with….Gabrielle sleeps with black men and her acting skills suck to me….Meagan Goode sleeps with no man and her acting skills are horrible…. if they were porn stars I would care about who they are screwing but they are actresses and thats all im looking at their acting skills… so Thandie keep getting those acting roles

    • blackmann

Thandie is not black she mixed white looking and she untalnted as sh’t. she not only can’t real act but she act like white b’tch and i says this not because she sucks white man’s d’ck smh!

  21. DJ Mutha

That trailer was not the ticket…

  22. playafly

Looks absolutely wonderful. lol. I personally love when Tyler is not playing Madea. It’s okay that that is how you came to be known in the film industry, but to me I would much rather watch the films where he shows the different aspects of life. Well done Tyler. I’m just waiting on my chance to be a lead in one of his films :)

  23. Diamond Latrelle

Looks like an interesting movie. I wonder if he’ll work with any of the other former Cosby actors/actresses or the Mowry sisters (Tia & Tamera) in his future film endeavors.

Lol, I can’t with some of the people on here…But anyway, I’ll be seeing him. I support most of his films except for the Browns. Not gonna be able to do it.

  29. Rara

This is different and refreshing coming from him. I’m actually going to see this in theaters!

  30. Thoro

I like Tyler but can he make a movie that supports men. It just seems that he bashes men any chance he can get. I would love to see a movie in which he foucuses on how difficulties that men suffer in relationships as well. His new series stinks “for better or worse” needs better writers.Movie looks okay mediocure at best.

  31. wifey06

i will go see this movie but you can best belive I will not pay to see the movie Kim K is in. She uses blacks to the fullest. Why no yt people give her the time of day?

Kim K will not get a dime of my money honey!!!!!!!!!!!
