Starting the recording process back in 2008, Cassie has been the victim of several tracks leaking, however on a recent episode of BET’s 106 & Park, Diddy explained the Bad Boy is currently rebuilding, and Cassie is next up on the roster to release her album at the top of next year.
Wow, I’m rooting for Cassie but I aint feeling neither one of these. Back to the lab baby girl.

I Am SOOOO Bored of all these talentless songs that consist of ONE note and Computer effects… Cassie should focus on the modeling or looking attractive, There’s nothing good in either of those songs both tracks sound “Pants” I actually think everyone in her team or at the label knew these songs were excrement but as bad news spreads fast its the best for publicity… SAD
I didn’t get through the first 30 seconds of breathe again. That little flight attendant intro was so unnecessary. I tried to listen to gimme that, but once again, I couldn’t finish.
Go back and take another listen to “Breathe Again”; they’re onto to something! Production is good, and the song, overall, is catchy!
Of course the production is going to be top notch, to drowned out that voice, so i am actually looking forward to hearing her stuff so i can imagine what another artist would sound like on the beat. But call me crazy, i actually hear some/little growth in her voice, she’s trying some things on that breathe again song.

I guess Puffy’s trying to make the supporting music as busy as possible to hide the fact that she can’t sing. We all know the tracks are being strategically leaked to see there is a positive response. 2 more songs to add to the “break it” category.

@ Dior Blanco just because people have an opinion that those not agree with yours, does not make them a “hater.” I am so over people over using and miss-using that word. Furthermore Cassie’s voice lacks depth. Diddy knows it and that is why he’s been so hesitant to release her album and lose money on an unworthy investment. I too, think she should pursue modeling, acting or something else.

“Breathe Again” is a good production, but Cassie still can’t sing. “Radio” is dope though, they should of put some promotion into that and made it the leading single.

I saw the title “Breathe Again” and thought that she had attempted to re-make the Toni Braxton song of the same title, thank God that wasnt the case lol! they have been working on this project for the past 3 or 4 years, its funnie how Diddy is pushing her album so hard, and he just let other artist that were signed to his label fall off, like Donny from “Making the Band” someone who can actually sing, it just proves that Diddy and Cassie really do have something going on, for some reason I think that Diddy thinks that shes gonna be the next “Rihanna” type superstar, what do u guys think?

Maybe its just me, but I love her voice. Its soft and smooth. Its nice to vibe to while taking relaxing. Everybody is trying to do the dance thing with their music, but I like cassie A LOT better when she did R&B ! The tracks are terrible, but their not great either . I liked when DREAM wrote her songs. They really complimented her .

I can see Gimme that being a hit. It’s very pop, which is the genre she should stick to. She doesn’t have a voice for r&b music. Pop music doesnt require vocal ability. Hence why so its so popular. As long as its repetitive and the artist is beautiful and/or can dance it will sell.

Braethe Again is a hit or miss. Gimme that is pretty dope… I love how she sounds on the chorus. I dont think her voice is strong enough for the verses, like its too soft spoken for my liking. But overall the song is good. Is she not confident with her voice? that may be it……
I would love to see Cassie get pass this “thing” she has going on but I could not get through either of the songs. My effort was there…she may need to put more effort with writing and studio time. She needs some special attention.

I’m not mad, the girl has been around for a minute and if someone is willing to take a chance, then I know I would try it too even if i couldn’t sing a lick. To be honest, though, there are a lot of artists with softer voices — works for me because I don’t always want to hear that heavy, loud voice. It may not be the best, but there’s certainly worse.

ugh, the only two leaks I want to hear in their entirety is “Hide” and “Don’t Lose It”. It’s ironic that the two most exciting songs are the ones that are just snippets and I bet they won’t even be on the album!
Don’t lose it is now called ‘Money on Love’ and is Cassie’s second single to be released in the summer– for a back to school release CAN’T WAIT!!!
